Acapella~~

I am singing (AGAIN!) One will never understand how happy I am to finally be singing again. I am crazy happy!

(best gif EVER ! ) freaking Wednesday Addams dancing away like a freaking diva. I am going mad happy just looking at it!!!!
Finally able to attend my lessons at LWS without feeing like a useless bum who forgets her lyrics.

1. I forgot my lyrics during evaluation. I nearly got kicked out of the group for being the lousiest performers ever.

2. Not been singing since the end of TF1. My throat muscles went all bonkers on me and I could not even speak without feeling like I swallowed a rock.

So I did an acapella rendition of Titanium...

And I will be singing When You're Gone (by Avril Lavinge) and it is going to sound sappy but I do feel the song. (ignore the broken english)

It has been a whacking week with my voice back and finally being able to have dinner with my awesum fwens: Nat, Ruth, Abi, Pam. 2 out of 4 are going to be leaving the country for uni. sobbbbzzzz..... :(

no pictures from dinner cause nobody brought camera hahahaha

VISUALS FROM MY USA TRIP: PART 3 / Road to LA

Place: USA

OTW to L.A.

Scenic route from San Francisco to L.A.: 17-mile Drive

Crazy skinny vs Crazy fat squirrels

Alright by this part of the trip, I have lost my DSLR once and found it. I was terrified that I was going to lose my camera so I did not snap as much and just left it in my bag.

We stopped by this beautiful town (can't remember the name) but it was situated right outside 17-Mile Drive.

And a beautiful Mediterranean restaurant: LUNCH

After lunch, more beach visits!!!!

L.A. L.A. babehhh~

Ending this with a terrible picture of myself and the kids

P.S. I signed up for hall camp. Go Twelvers! Hall 12 NTU! Really don't think I am good at making friends.

Pity Funds for College, Anybody?

University is starting. 5th August (for WKW, NTU)? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have came to a realisation that I AM FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT. It is a scary term. I honestly thought that people are f-indie only when they start working. I never planned for me to be f-indie so early in life. I never saved enough for that! Imagine a girl pulling her and rocking herself in the corner of the room. That is me being absolutely stressed about being f-indie.

As vulgar as "f-indie" sounds, it basically means to be financially independent. It's such a scary word and far too long to be typed out throughout this post. I refuse to do that!

First, let me explain my circumstance:

19 y-o scholar (uni fees obviously paid for already) and really bad with financial planning. So bad... I totally forgot to check if I had to pay a deposit for hall (and apparently I have to: two months worth of rent) and neither did I bother to balance out my in&out money. Obviously I did not take Accounting in school, I don't even know the actual financial terms for earnings and expenditure. #ohyayscholarwithnobrains

Second, why being f-indie is such a crazy idea:

My parents promised me a university education and I was like primary school then. This means they would have saved up enough to pay for uni just in case I was bad in my academics and unable to get a scholarship. Me a few months back: Oh! My parents would at least pay for hostel accommodation. NO! They are not doing that. They are "expecting" me to pay it and they truly believe it is all part of "GROWING UP".

So now, I am desperately looking for students to tutor. As of right now, my brains and slight aptitude in teaching are my assets. I shall cherish them and protect them with my life.

And if you dare take them or my tutees away from me:

P.S. Click Away At The Ad at the side to contribute to my Pity Fund. Oh gosh how desperate I am.

VISUALS FROM MY USA TRIP: PART 2 / YOSEMITE

Place: USA; Yosemite National Park

Beautiful place with trees and a lot of rock. You see that rock in the distance? It is a famous rock but I have no idea what it's called. HAHA Semi-rock? Rock that got cut into half by a glacier?

More trees that I thought were very pretty

People were getting married at Yosemite! HAHA! How sweet and cute! And please, just look at the ring bearer!

Sequoias of Yosemite

And a little to sum up my stay in San Francisco:

VISUALS FROM MY USA TRIP: Part 1/ San Franc

Place: USA
June 11th - 27th

In The Sky

Took ANA for the first times. Its a Japanese airline and (a member of the Star Alliance, they kept repeating this line during their announcements). First picture taken with my Sony and the second with my iPod.

Left: Cute old Japanese lady who was sitting beside me. She kept speaking to me in Japanese and I just was stunned the entire time.
Right: Lemme explain: I spilt juice all over the seat, the floor and on myself. It sipped right into my boots. (I threw away that red boots I am wearing cause I bought two pairs of Timberland boots while in the US)

San Francisco

SFO!

This two little kids were my company throughout the entire trip! Imagine the entertainment.

And we drove everywhere; from airports to hotels to shopping centres to attractions and even to LA
Which reminds me: about time to get a driver's license

Behold the sights of San Francisco

I really think it is so darn cute how they put in so much effort in their architecture. Even cute corndog stands like this. When stands are this cute, you just gotta buy from them. (Ended up putting on a good 4kg in the US)

That's Alcatraz in the distance

view from the hotel room

The light is always really pretty in the states. I really think because there were hardly any clouds in the sky and whatever light you get is FULL BLAST from the sun.

dinner at Pier 39

The restaurant was in this arcade with really old skool arcade games. Brought the 2 freakishly adorable kids to play after dinner and the guy at the counter (above) was so damn cute.

vist to Alcatraz
prison to the most notorious criminals

View from Alcatraz Island of San Francisco City

back in SF

Currently freezing my ass off in Starbucks.
