A Peek Into My Dreams

It is always hard to let something go. It is exceptionally hard when that SOMETHING is someone who you have shared many experiences and memories with. A best friend, maybe. A person who took care of you since you were in Kindergarden? Or even a boyfriend you shared many 'first's with. You are comfortable with their presence. Too comfortable. You cherish them a lot too. On random days - while chionging homework at the wee hours of day or on a long bus ride home - you think of the possibility of them not being around. Your heart aches and it weeps a little. Urgh, can you imagine that ache? On certain occasions, the ache is physical while on other days, you just get all emotional. You cry on your bed in the dark. Hopefully your parents don't hear your heavy breathing. Hopefully no one checks on you. You just wanna be alone and you just want to think of all the horrible things that can happen, preparing yourself for the worst. Then you think, 'Okay it is not going to happen!' You stop crying as you slip into slumberland - only to wake up with puffy eyes the next morning.

Right now, I have to choose.

I have cried many times just thinking about you not being in my life. I just thought of "you dying" while walking home. I had to wait at the void deck for my eyes and nose to clear up before going home. I really do not know what you mean to me. Maybe only two words describe it, "a lot". Yet everything is still so nebulous.

I work in a lovely place right now and I love my job. I understand that it is a temporary job afterall and I would have to bid it byebye soon. 

Instead of working today, I went to SYF as an audience. Oh how I miss choral music and its power. :( Six years of my youth dedicated to choral music.

Behold Joey Chua the NTU Scholar HAHAHA! Yes, I can finally call myself a SCHOLAR! I cannot wait to accept the offers from NTU! Feeling so blessed. 

I am sure people are wondering if I am still doing the singing and the answer is yesyesyesyes. 

Education is so so so important. Knowledge is Power. College is going to be such a wonderful experience and I am sure I will be learning so many things that will help me in my future whether it is related to Comms Studies or not.

SO HOW'S LIFE? I hope everybody reading this has been having so much fun with life/school/work/slacking and what not. I have been cooped up with work (9-6, praise the lord) and prepping for The Final 1 & PG (Performing Group). To add on to the misery of being tired, my best friend is probably leaving for the States for college. I am happy for her!!! (honestly am) HAHA effingNYClehhhzzz But sucks not to have friends around when you get to a new school in the same place you have been all your life. Hence, I have decided to buy a glass jar and name it "TRIP FUND". Hopefully, it will look like this:
